The Department Community Safety and Transport Management invites applications for the LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME 2023: ROAD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT Reference no. 01/2023.

The Traffic Officers Diploma Learnership seeks to capacitance unemployed youth with knowledge and skills in Traffic Law Enforcement.

Details of the Learnership Programme are as follows:

Requirements

  • Unemployed youth (between the ages of 18 & 35)
  • Grade 12 Certificate/National Certificate (vocational)
  • Security Clearance from SAPS
  • Attach medical report indicating that the applicant is fit to do strenuous exercise/training
  • A valid driver’s License
  • NB:No visible Tatoos

Stipend : R3000 P/M

NB. Learners who have previously been in a Learnership programme in the Public Service will not be considered.

(a) Applications must be accompanied by signed Z83, a recent updated comprehensive CV with names of three referees; originally certified copies of Grade 12, ID-document, required Driving License, Security Clearance from SAPS. Failure to submit the requested documents will result in the application not being considered.

(b) All qualifications will be verified. Persons in possession of a foreign qualification must furnish this Department with an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).

(c) Candidates must indicate the number of the post/reference number in their applications.
(d) Candidates requiring additional information regarding an advertised post, must direct their enquiries to Mr Moshito Malotane

(e) Applications should be forwarded in time to the department since applications received after the closing date indicated below will as a rule not be accepted. Faxed and emailed applications are not accepted.

(f) It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date, time and place as determined by the Department.

(g) The Department reserves the right not to make appointments and correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only.

(h) Previous employment records will be verified. All appointments are subjected to a positive qualifications verifications as well as security clearance and vetting.
