2022 Applications for the SRD Grant Payments Commence Today Applications are Open 2022
The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) will begin dispersing R350 grant payments today. These are the January payment dates for the SRD grant recipients who have chosen to collect their grant payment at the post office.
Keep in mind that these days will only apply to individuals whose identity document number has the last three digits listed below:
10 Jan: 080 & 085
11 Jan: 081 & 086
12 Jan: 082 & 087
13 Jan: 083 & 088
14 Jan: 084 & 089
17 Jan: 080 & 085
18 Jan: 081 & 086
19 Jan: 082 & 087
20 Jan: 083 & 088
21 Jan: 084 & 089
24 Jan: 080 & 085
25 Jan: 081 & 086
26 Jan: 082 & 087

Sassa has also stated that grant recipients should wait for an SMS confirmation notifying them about the availability of their grant before going to collect it. Sassa does not process SRD grant payments on days that other social grants are being paid out.
Additionally, SRD grant recipients can also opt to collect their grant payments at any Boxer and Pick n Pay store throughout the country. This group has also been advised to wait for an SMS confirmation before visiting these retail outlets to collect their grant.
