2022 Applications for the UWC Opens 2022 Registrations? StatusApplications are Open 2022
The University of the Western Cape (UWC) has opened its registrations for the 2022 academic year on 10 January 2022 and will conclude the process on 11 February 2022. The university will be conducting all registrations online.
Students will have to access the Student Portal at various stages of their registration, using the following login details:
- Student Number
- SA ID/Passport number
For students who may need help with their registration, UWC has provided students with an online registration guide which you can access this by clicking here.
Here are the dates for online registration
- PhD and Masters – Monday, 10 January 2022 – 11 February 2022.
- Undergraduate (returning) and Honours and PG diploma/certificate – Monday, 24 January 2022 – Friday, 11 February 2022.
- New undergraduate students – Monday, 24 January 2022 – Friday, 11 February 2022.
UWC has advised students to make sure that they register before the due dates listed above, as the university will not be accepting any late registrations, unless permission is sought from and granted by the Faculty in question.
Once students have completed their registration they will receive their proof of registration and timetable via email.
The First Semester will commence on 14 February 2022 and teaching and learning will take place online. Students who are required to attend lectures, practicals, clinicals, etc. on campus will receive communication from their respective department or faculty.
